In this drawing I engage with the entanglement of a landscape and our bodily perception of it. The drawing is a searching process, in which I try to capture a moment that represents the idea of a landscape as a fluid process with bodily properties: unconscious, hidden elements and conscious acts of shaping the ground are equal parts of this process. The landscape is depicted as superimposed temporalities and figures – much like body figures – to form a palimpsest and manifest an aesthetic understanding of landscapes as active bodies beyond the idea of a figure.
